One Cause, One Mission
Here at Superior Shop, our mission has been and always will be to advocate and support the protection of our beloved waterways from environmental threats. Thus far, our primary concern has been the protection of The Boundary Waters.
Currently, The Boundary Waters and surrounding waterways are being threatened by sulfide-ore copper mining. Sulfide-ore copper mining produces hazardous byproducts such as sulfuric acid and heavy metals which are extremely harmful to both wildlife and people.
We are honored to partner with Save the Boundary Waters and their efforts to combat the pollution and destruction of this beautiful environment. To learn more, check out Save the Boundary Waters.
Only the Beginning
Our drive for conservation is not limited to The Boundary Waters. With the support we receive from our products, our mission is to continue to expand, advocate, and support the efforts to protect the waterways and environment in Minnesota, the Great Lakes Region, and beyond.
We thank each and every one of our customers. Without you, this would not be possible. Your continued support has given us the opportunity to not only support The Boundary Waters but also expand our vision even further.
We are extremely hopeful about what’s to come and excited to continue to be a part of the movement to protect our waterways and environment.
Save the Boundary Waters
Save the Boundary Waters is a leader in the effort to permanently protect the BWCA from sulfide-ore copper mining. We are grateful to be one of their Shop to Support partners and honored to donate 50% of our proceeds to Save the Boundary Waters and the fight to protect The Boundary Waters.
Boundary Waters Business Coalition
We also proud to be a part of the Boundary Waters Business Coalition. This group of local, state, regional and national businesses share the same drive to protect and preserve The Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
